Dear Mama,

You are so wonderful!  I can’t believe that you actually sleep on the floor in front of Grandma’s bed every night.  You’re such a saint.  You are just heaping up blessings in heaven, and the rest of us are going to stand in awe at your mansion on high.  Know that I think you’re wonderful, and when you’re old and weak and can’t stand up long enough to get from the bed to the bathroom, I’ll sleep on the floor in front of your bed, too.

I love that you’re so excited to be called as a Relief Society teacher, and I’m so glad that Ryan found a job!  It’s snowed here, and everything is covered in snow and ice.  S. Wilson and I are going to the piata today to buy me boots and gloves and a scarf and legwarmers, because I really can’t put it off anymore.  Good news is, though, that the big grey wool coat we bought at the consignment shop is nice and warm, and oh-so-gorgeous.  I’ll send you a picture of me in it in the snow (the rest of the winter gear I’m wearing is S. Wilson’s).

I love you!

P.S.  My companion is keeping track of how many ensigns I read because she is amazed that I can read so quickly.  So far, the count is 29 since my birthday.  🙂

P.P.S.  I think it’s so cute that you and dad danced to the light of the christmas tree!

P.P.P.S Man, I might as well go back and edit the letter if I’m going to add this much at the end.  Sorry I forgot to email you about school last week.  It shouldn’t be too hard for me to go back to BYU-I next year because I attended there before and I told them I would be back.  Hopefully they listened.  I’m not sure how Jake’s situation is going to work, especially since he didn’t actually attend there before the mish.  You may want to call the admission office and ask some questions.  You will definitely need to fill out the FAFSA (to get grants for school from the government) in January for all three of us–me, Jake, and Kayla.  Where there’s three of us going to college at the same time, I don’t know if it would be more advantageous for us to be considered dependents or not.  It would definitely be better for Kayla if Jake and I were considered dependents, but I’m not sure how much difference it would make for Jake and I.  Brother Behunion may be a really good person to ask, but I don’t know how else to find out.  Also, I’m still not 100% sure how the christmas phone call will work out, but I’ll continue to ask around.
